Hi, thanks for the video. For those 2 months building aerobic base - would you suggest combining it with strength training and other aerobic exercise - such as swimming as well?

Hi! Thanks for such a useful video. I am running a marathon in May 2024 (6 months time). I currently run 1-2 times a week 5k or 10k. Before i start a 16 week program - how much should i run per week?

Thanks so much for the help, I do have one question. When you were talking about the 2 month aerobic base period I am wondering if I should still be doing runs 10 miles and more or if i should be sticking around 3-8 mile runs. Thanks so much.

Just found your channel. Great advice. I've run 3 marathons but my last one was 14 years ago. I've stayed fit but the calling for a 4th is loud. My question today for you is, during the 8 weeks of easy based low tempo jogging can you please recommend what's an example of mileage or period of time you'd recommend. Btw I'm 54 for I'm no spring chicken but I love running. Cheers and thank you.!

It all makes a lot of sense to me, thank you for that (and responding to my email) There is a lot to learn ( and to enjoy). I have one question. You mentioned earlier training at much higher tempo to make mp feel easier and mentioned mile repeats. How much faster should i run them ? Vo2 max 5 k pace or Threshold HM/10 k pace, or maybe both? Thank you!

Hey, question on something I’ve been debating or going over my mind. Would it be better to do say a long base building session of slowly building up your miles or if you’re already in shape would it be better to like find your fast mile time then your fast 5K 10K, half marathon, and then hit the marathon training, real hard just your thoughts whenever

My race is Berlin sept 26. Should I try to peak for April, tapper then start again in May?
What kind of couching do you have? I need a weekly 30min video call in addition to a 7 months plan. I am now reaching 55 miles. Started in Nov from 30 base. Thinking of hitting a base of 65-70miles or peak in April for a fake Marathon. Totally not sure
