In this full marathon training plan I aim to give you the tools you need to tweak the plan to suit your own needs whilst giving you the structure you can follow to ensure you smash your race day goals.

This is a 25 week plan that can be adapted down to 17 weeks depending on current levels of fitness. You choose what works best for you. If times right and you start in November this can be used to get yourself to London Marathon in peak condition.

6 months ago I started this plan just to see how far through it I could get (longest I’d ran before was 8 and a half miles)… ended up making it through the whole thing, signed up for a marathon race 2 weeks ago, and finished in 3:47:21 yesterday as the youngest person in the race. Thank you for the great training plan and advice! :)

Just ran my first marathon last weekend following this plan☺️. Well following it until the half marathon point and after that my lazyness got the better of me with consistency. This really came back to haunt on the 30k mark on my marathon and I pretty much crawled to the finish line with a time of 5h 22min but I'm super happy that I managed to do it. In the future I'll less of an idiot and focus on consistency and I'm sure I'll hit the 4h mark next year. Thanks for the amazing running plans!☺️

I love these plans. I've done This Messy Happy 10K and HM plans (my HM will be tomorrow morning! 😁). I might jump into this one at week 13 after a recovery week.

Great.
Definitely agree with the rest day between runs. My legs always feel tired when they hit 40+ m/wk so this will I'm sure help.

I've done my 16 weeks and ran a 3:51 marathon last Satturday, thanks for the plan! If I stuck with the plan better I might've had 10 minutes lower time :D

Just finished Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday. I used your Half Marathon training guide for that, only missing one run (the first funnily enough) through the 12 week block. I'm a little big (108kg) and was originally running around 6 minute KM pace. Got down to around 102kg on the day and ended up running sub 2 hours (1:56).

Suffice to say, I'll be using this guide for the Marathon in April!!

Thanks bud.

Man great vibes and great videos.
Thanks a lot. I followed your six week training for the half marathon, from 0 running. And I already made 15 km at 5:22 pace. All thanks to you.
The half marathon is next Sunday 20th.

Completed the Brighton marathon + the extra distance the other week using this running plan and it was great, never felt like I couldn't finish at any point and got my target! 100% recommend

Thanks a lot!

I signed up for the Vienna Half Marathon in April and for the Amsterdam Marathon in October next year, so your schedule will surely be helpful!
It's about a year to go, but i rather take my time and get there well, than get injured (again) along the way.
