The best argument they try is when they tell you (falsely, but authoritatively) something that the Catholic Church teaches. When you tell them they are wrong, they say, "You don't even know what your own church teaches."

You should’ve also included what the Protestant reformers thought about Mary’s perpetual virginity. Such as Martin Luther, John Calvin and Ulrich Zwingli. They all believed Mary was a perpetual virgin! This idea that Mary had other kids is such a new idea and people can’t even pin point who came up with it.

Protestantism's theological depth is shallow.

Having lost all ties to tradition, they have lost key knowledge about the scriptures. Language-wise, they would understand that there was no words for "cousins" in Jesus's language, thus the use of the word "brothers" in these situations.

Other examples are found in John, when Jesus explain that we must eat his flesh to have eternal life. The original words were specific words referring to specific actions, for instance "Phago" which meant "physically consume", and "Drogo" which meant "to gnaw" or "to chew". Whoever are ready to go so low as to claim that these specific terms were purely symbolic, referring to "listen to His teachings", aren't honestly reading the Bible for what it says.

Ever since when I was twelve a neighbor of mine we were the same age he was of a Wesleyan denomination and he said to the other neighbor kids that catholics do not believe in the Bible after that when a protestant says something I think it is probably a lie.

I am sure you know this one but when Jesus was on the cross HE gave His mother to John. If Jesus had other siblings this would have been an outrage. Jesus would have been breaking a commandment and a Jewish custom set by God to always care for your family and not push that responsibility onto someone else. The fact that we do not hear anything about what a horrible thing Jesus did with His mom tells us that there were no other children who could have cared for Mary.

Protestant here. Perhaps someone can answer my question. Why is it so important to Roman Catholics that Mary, even though married to Joseph, did not have marital relations with Joseph and did not have other children after Jesus was born?
