I learned this concept by accident. I was watching a Swedish blogger who would always speak Swedish to her boyfriend and dog. And without any effort whatsoever I started picking up what she was saying, especially the repetitive things like "welcome" or "good morning." So then what was super crazy was when I noticed that I was actually understanding words I had never heard her say but I was familiar with the langauage a little and could simply understand by the context. So yes this method really works. I am almost fluent in Swedish, which is hilarious given that I have no reason to go to Sweden, but listening to short podcasts over and over, and then finally reading the words, and then listening again without the words has helped me tremendously. Now I am trying the same in Spanish.

I am learning for a super cute Honduran Chica. Went on a date after three weeks of learning. And I felt like it was test day and everything kept coming and going out of my head but it went well and we are going out again soon. I hope to be fluent in 3 months. Because she had to help with some of my pronunciations. Thanks for the help.. I study 3 to 4 hours a day and put it to practice at work

I remember a lot of the words but I have to seriously re-study the thousands and thousands of verb conjugations. I originally learned “Spain” Spanish so it is challenging understanding dialects and words from other countries which can be quite different…. but most times they know what you are trying to say. ☺️

Amazing. I once tried to learn Spanish for a short time. But I think it is difficult for me to learn so I gave up. Until now I still need to use Immersive Translate to help me translate it. But still thanks for your tips.

This is very helpful. I am working on listening, writing out all the studies and I just got a bilingual children’s Latin story book (bc that’s my level right now lol) and working on pronunciating/reading the story out loud in both Spanish and English. Some words and conjugations are still very difficult (yo, me, mi, mi) for me but little by little I am recognizing words and phrases more. Your videos have been helpful. I even have my phone put in Spanish by a friend to “immerse” myself - trying my best to avoid getting locked out or delete important things lol thank you for your channel! Can you do a lesson on yo, me, mi, mi? Thank you ☺️

Hey I'm a barber trying to learn Spanish so i can serve the spanish speaking community in my area... specifically introducing my self, and offering my services.

"Im a Barber.... please keep me in mind if you need barber services...."

"What type of haircut /or services can i provide you? "

"Any off the top?"
"Skin fade?"
"Line up the front?"
"How does that feel/look... Any adjustments for you?"

I’ve been learning Spanish for 20 years and still not all the way fluent 😂. Either I’m not paying attention or my brain just not rocking with it. I’m like 80 percent. I can speak with anyone from any Spanish speaking country but the slang from different areas gets me. I’m 32 and the area where I’m from, we were made to take Spanish from kindergarten to 8th grade because they heavy Hispanic presence
