As a native Spanish speaker I can say that "Yo quiero" is not rude unless you want it to be rude, the tone you are usinh is what matters the most

I'm a native speaker and it's totally ok to say "quiero" unless you're trying to sound formal, but it isn't rude at all.

'quisiera' can be used for request something at restaurants or similar, but other too are not used normally for a casual communication...

Instead look them deep in the eyes and in a high pitch voice say "aye papi, terminar en mi boca". This is a very colloquial way to say you want something and they will instantly understand what you mean

If you want to sound more like a native Spanish speaker you could say “para mi sería…”
Let’s say that you’re in a restaurant and you want to order a coffee… you could say “para mi sería un café”

Pero está perfecto jajaja. Normalmente usamos las expresiones: Me gustaría, quisiera, querría, en contextos más formales o en un bar o café.
Quiero esto, quiero aquello lo decimos mucho y no está mal. Aveces no siempre conviene usar todo al azar. Saludos. 😁😁😁😁😁

En lugares hispanohablantes no va a sonar tan rudo pero si quisieras pedir algo en un cafe podrías decir "me podrías dar" o también "podría traerme"
