One more habit to try, I read my Bible first thing before I start the day. Or a devotional. Sit and thank Jesus for saving me. Quiet time . I started at the beginning of the Bible when I started to know God. Bless you and your family Renee.

I’m 52 also and I’m scheduled for my hysterectomy next week. I’m so nervous. I look forward to your videos because seeing how well you’re doing calms my nerves. Thank you for sharing your hysterectomy journey. It has helped me. ❤

Renee, it's soooo good to see our "happy lady" enjoy Life and Health again! God is so good! He heard and answered my prayers for you both. He WILL answer the rest that I pray for you and your family too. I fully trust Him. Please give Mom hugs from us!

You've got the greatest tips!! I'm retired now and am so enjoying it. I get to actually sit and read and listen to music. Like you, I get up early in the morning, sit on my couch with the dogs and cats surrounding me and cuddling with me, it's the best thing in the world. My walks are so much more leisurely, not always hurrying to "get it in". I have time to bake! I love being retired.

I also have curly hair and I’m thinking of going grey! No more coloring.

Oh yes...the quiet "me time" really helps me the most. My household is full of noise all day long and I am the first to get up. Just sitting in the quiet (me and my dog) sipping on my coffee or tea and praying about the day really helps calm me. And just being outside...oh Renée you hit the nail on the head. All throughout my life I would take little or long walks through nature. My birth home was next to a meadow and woods and the simple act of strolling through those areas breathing in the scents and listening to the birds always quiets me and allows me to ground myself. My mom had several huge iris beds (8' x 25-30') and in the spring and early summer I would walk the iris beds and smell all the different colored flowers. Such a sweet, fond memory. My head is always whirling with thoughts and I really need the non-man-made sounds to ease that noise. Nature sounds do the trick every time!

❤ love this … happy to hear you have been released to start back to your normal activities.. I have about three weeks left in my hysterectomy recovery . I’m slowly increasing my steps daily to get to my 10k min .

I’m 2 weeks post op from a full hysterectomy and have been walking since day of surgery. I walk about half a mile each day. And it helps a great deal mentally and physically so I couldn’t agree with you more!!!❤

One thing that has helped me feel better is getting my sleep. Once I started menopause, my sleep cycle went crazy! I could not sleep! I take magnesium now and it has helped me so much!

i just started following you a few weeks back, im very active and we eat healthy in our family and i must say, this video is really great! I love how youre reaching out to all your followers and just showing everyone how to go about doing it ...its commendable! I live where its cold and we have a fairly long winter..( central oregon) but imust say...i go out and walk every day, snow, hail, wind, and 0 degree temps because ...you just feel amazing and invigorated and healhty and you get air and motion and head clearing..etc. and might i add you can see the difference in you since you began your fasting journey! Keep up these great videos, you rock!

Walking is great exercise & it's basically free. It is a good idea to invest in a great pair of walking shoes. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 I do the same things that you do. I don't have a walking counter...& I don't think that I want one. I feel great every day. Self-care... I'm totally into it. I'm 61, & turning 62 in November. I feel more like I'm in my late 40's. There are certainly great advantages to taking care of ourselves as we age. 👍😊👏 I love your videos Renee. Keep on, keeping on.

I just had a hysterectomy a few weeks ago. Due to uterine cancer. Were you really tired ? Just wondering how everyone else feels a few weeks afterwards. Thank you so much for your awesome videos. I love them all. I think I’ve seen every one of them 😀❤️

I'm in awe of your early morning couch cuppa! I would be found by my family at 10am snoring with coffee down my front if my butt touched a couch at 5.30am .... so for me it's a crossword puzzle in the evening 😂

Glad to see you shine again, I know recovering from surgery takes a while but you look great! You should take a course on becoming a "wellness coach" I think you would be great at it! Thank you for your videos, I love to watch you and your family.
