You have, by far, the best and easiest ways to get candle wax out. So simple, so quick, and no messes. Thank you so much for this. I love how you were right to the point without some long winded and long drawn out video. <3 Thank you so much. :)

The best way I've found is to put your oven on the lowest setting and turn the candle jars upside down on a cookie sheet covered with tinfoil. Leave them in until the was melts and then wipe with a paper towel before washing.

Brilliant! I used the freezer method and left it in overnight. I did not even have to use a knife the half filled jar of wax just fell out. Thank you for the tip

and you can reuse the left over candle wax by placing it in a candle warmer

Thanks for this “to the point” video.
I warm a large pan of water, let it gentle simmer, then put the containers in it. Within about half hour the wax has melted, if there’s enough was left over I use a strainer to get rid of the bits, the. Incorporate it into my new candle.

Brilliant! I used the freeze method. The vase I used was half full of wax because the candle had leaked. Put it into the freezer overnight and it fell out like magic. I did not even have to chip it. brilliant thank you.

I'm a licensed massage therapist & I go through candles like crazy. I throw out wax that's still good because there's no wick. So I'm gonna use the first method to harvest the wax & make more candles. Thank you!

The first one is all we needed to do the trick: Simple, cheap and easy.

I’ve been trying to get wax off my candle jar for months and I just couldn’t figure it out. Decided to check YouTube tonight and your video came up first so I immediately tried the hot water method and viola! It really worked! The wax just rose up and I didn’t even had to wait for hours or overnight. It worked in just about 20 mins 😃 Thank you very much! Much appreciated. 🙏🏽🤗

Thank you so much! Someone had gifted me a three wick candle in a beautiful ceramic jar and now that I’ve removed the leftover wax I can use it to store my stash of little perfume samples or something else.

Method #4: First, use a knife to pry the candle and any chunks of wax out of the jar. Scrape away excess wax, and remove the wick collar (the metal end of the wick). When the jar is relatively clean, put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds, then wipe away any melted wax with a paper towel.

Wow the boiling water and leaving it worked so well. I didn’t have to scrub or scrape it at all. Thank you so much!!

It's been 10yrs since this video was made I believe. The 1st method I'm trying now in 2024. Seems easy, straightforward and better than throwing away the candles I like. Amazon Walmart etc sells the wicks.

I placed my nearly empty jars on the hot plate of my coffee brewer. It worked like a charm!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I didn’t have to go out and buy a mug warmer. 👍🏼 I still added almost boiling water to get rid of the bits towards the top. They are still soaking as I type this. Thanks for sharing your tips. 🙏🏼😊

Thanks!  The first method seems the better IMO!
