I have overproductive earwax. Easy solution, is about once a month I use these drops, they sit for 15 minutes, and then I spray it out with water. You have no idea how satisfying it is to suddenly be able to hear again when you see the clump of wax come out

Last year I thought I was going deaf cause everything in my right ear was severely muffled and I didn’t know why. I thought why not ask the school nurse n she looked inside and told me I had a huge chunk of wax down my ear and it was hard as a rock. She said usually she recommends over the counter drops but told me this was the worst she’s seen and I should get it done by a professional. The best method I've discovered for getting rid of ear wax is using a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and warm water in one of those beauty spray bottles you can get from the beauty supply. Twist the nozzle so that the water mixture shoots out in a stream and repeatedly spray it in your ear at close range, and it'll loosen up and fall out.

Or get a ear irrigation done by either your primary doctor or an ENT specialist cuz the OTC ear drops don't always help.
PS: I'm a nurse and I HATE and LOVE doing ear irrigation. I hate it cuz it's nasty and I love it cuz it's kinda rewarding getting all that junk out of patients' ears and hearing them sigh in relief when they can finally hear better.

I AM NOT A DOCTOR!!!
I am an EMT, and we use water to flush wounds and eyes when they are dirty and have chemicals.
I have advice using medical knowledge with a little bit of logic. Just use either room temp water or extremely mild warm water in your ear, then turn your head the other direction. The warm water will make the wax in your ear lossen and drain out. I do this whenever my ear is hurting or if I feel i need it.
Suggestion: Just rinse your ear when you need it in the shower
Let's say it's my left ear. When i do, it i turn the temp of the water down to a warmer temp. Then I fill my hand with water and pour it in. You will notice it will sound like you're swimming underwater. Then i put my head in the opposite direction and have my hand under my ear to catch what comes out. Sometimes, i will have nothing or a small chunk of wax in the palm of my hand.

One time, around 30 min after i did the flush, the most massive chunk of wax fell out of my ear. It was brown and looked bloody. I also noticed sound was louder.

I’ve had to regularly do this for years, and it works! You might not get it cleared immediately but then suddenly ear wax will start pouring out of your ears in a couple days

I use buds, but only around the outside area and if I'm tempted to poke it in just a little, I will usually pull some cotton off the bud with my teeth to downsize the surface area and wet willy the loose stringy cotton created from pulling and tearing it, which collects more wax.

When I was younger, I used to go deep (that's what she said), and the result became progressive blockages. But in a way the blockages acted as earplugs, protecting my deaf-ass from eardrum damage, and every blue moon I had to get my ears syringed, I was afterwards able to hear even a bicycle chain rattling away 50 yards away. It was surreal.
