Here’s how to make it:
2 cups (16 oz) full-fat or low-fat cottage cheese (full fat will be creamier)
¼ cup honey or other sweetener
2 Tablespoons peanut butter
2 Tablespoons chocolate chips

1️⃣ Add your cottage cheese and honey into a high powered blender, immersion blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
2️⃣ Stir in peanut butter and chocolate chips.
3️⃣ Pour into a container and freeze for 3-4 hours. You can take it out earlier if you want it the consistency of soft serve.
4️⃣ Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

i would probably lean into the cheese element of it and make a "cheesecake icecream" with strawberry slices and cookie crumbs

Thanks for getting me to try this! I used farmers cheese which is cottage cheese with no salt added, date syrup, some allulose(non sugar sugar) and vanilla paste with real bourbon. Then the peanut butter and chocolate chips. I wanted to see how it will freeze (or not). My theory is that the bourbon vanilla may keep it from freezing up too much. I will let you know…. Thx

Made mine with 1 scoop of chocolate casein protein, 1tbsp allulose liquid sugar substitute, and 8 mint chocolate thin Oreos. It was fantastic!

I made it, but it was rock solid like an icecub, so you have to time it carefully and remove it before it feeezes.

Wow...looks delish! I’m gonna make it! What if I switch out the chocolate chips & peanut butter for chopped pecans and maple syrup? And then top it with fresh berries? ❤

I made it and it's still freezing up. While I tastes a little salty it's not so bad. Next time add more sweetener. We added cocoa powder and madeit chocolate(I should've added instant coffee grounds too). We can't wait to really dig in

I made this! Posted the video of my result on my channel. MINE was HARD as a ROCK, I wonder how yours was so soft? My Healthy Dish made it also, and hers turned out hard as a rock as well, I wonder what the trick is to get it soft and creamy? Could it be using honey instead of sugar? I also used a small frozen banana. I used my Ninja Creamy to transform from frozen Solid into softer ice cream.

How does everyone get around the saltiness of the cottage cheese? Is there a no-salt version? I use pressed cottage cheese or Baker’s cheese from European stores.

It looks good! I don’t eat a lot of dairy but I am tempted to try this. Do I spy Trader Joes Hash Browns in the Freezer? So random but it caught my eye lol had to ask.
