I really agree with the concept of giving cheaper phones to kids instead of an iphone but I feel conflicted over the fact that it didn't quite work in the right way when my parents did it to me... I had those brick breaking Nokia phones throughout most of my childhood apart from that time when my grandad got me a red flip phone behind my parents back, but it'd always take about 3 months for them to go missing. But then when my dad got me an ipod touch when I was a teenager that was the first time I'd actually managed to keep a phone for a year before someone stole it. My parents hypothesis is that due to the device being way more expensive I subconsciously became a lot more terrified of losing it. And I kind of agree but I also think I just used it more and therefore was more aware of it's whereabouts. Idk what to think of this

I got a call from somebody i dont know and as soon as I picked it up, somebody shouted: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLA!!!”
And i said: “uhhh im not ella so you have a wrong number 😬”
