I visited 5 dealerships that have insane inventory numbers. What's more insane to me are the prices. Are dealers screwed not being able to sell overpriced vehicles? I don't see how this ends well. Is this a dealer problem or a manufacturer crisis?

Car dealers think that they are sitting on bars of gold when actually they are sitting on ROTTING PRODUCE.

Manufactures and dealers' profits have been insane. The way to bring these prices down is to not buy.

I used to see new temporary tags everywhere. Literally everywhere. Now I hardly see one a day. I work in Atlanta as an EMT so I’m on the road often. People really aren’t buying cars

I am blown away at these prices! Cloth seats for 60K?! Why are some of these cars close to 100K??!! These car dealerships have lost their minds. Plus interest rates are high as well. I remember when I thought 50K was crazy high for a car. Having 2 new drivers it is impossible to find a nice used car in our price range.

This is ridiculous but it shows you how bad things have gotten, but when I see a new full size truck in the $50s, my default reaction is “wow that’s cheap”

They refuse to negotiate price and continue to slap junk fees on top of that.

You missed the window sticker indicates $10000 a year fuel cost along with then$90K sticker plus taxes and fees..about $120K first year alone.

I wonder what kinds of jobs people have to be able to afford 80 and 90 thousand dollar vehicles.

An $80K truck costs the manufacturer about $30K to build.
EVERY Automaker has priced themselves out of the general public market.
They all expect people to make $300K a year.
After all, they’ve increased the prices almost 100% since 2019.
I don’t know about anyone else, but my income hasn’t gone up by 100% in 5 years

Great review and enjoy your sarcasm. Trucks for $56, 000-$100, 000! There are people out there that embolden dealerships to sell at those prices. I saw a report were a woman preordered a Bronco and when it came in the dealership raised the price $10, 000 she said she didn’t like it but really wanted it so she paid it. My very good friend tells me he hates to haggle prices so he just pays what they ask. I told him those salesmen love him and mess it up for the rest of us. Even my barber told me he paid $8, 000 over MSRP for his Rav4 because he did not want to wait.
BTW, I bought a 2017 Tundra SR5 dbl cab V8 5.7L w/ 38 gal fuel tank new and out the door i paid $31k I’m going to see if I can get 800, 000 miles out of it 😊
