EVERYONE IS BROKE And The Car Market Is SCREAMING IT!

Thanks to all the creators that helped me with this one!

My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

Thanks for watching and please feel free to leave any comments you may have in the section below!

And make sure you don't forget to LIKE, SHARE AND SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE!!

More of this collaboration on finances, economy, real estate and the auto industry! This is a big win for viewers. Thank you, gentlemen!

There's not a pickup on this planet worth $80k or $85k. The automotive manufacturers/ dealerships have lost their minds.

I could easily pay cash for a new truck, but refuse to pay $40K, $50K, $75K for a vehicle. Will keep my 1999 Toyota Tacoma.

I can barely afford my 20 year old pickup truck. Clearly the dealers are smoking crack.

I had to pay 5K for a 16 year old Honda Civic. (92, 000 miles) I though it was insane at the time, but I'm glad I did. It is cheap and reliable. I've had people try and buy it off me, not a chance.

We are not broke. We are simply sick of car corporations screwing us over, overcharging us for poorly made products and continually raising prices to gouge us!

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving industry.

I had an 06 durango that broke down on me a few times. It was an old car. I needed a more reliable form of transportation so I bought a new car in 2020. The dealership wanted to give me $200.00 for my truck. I put it on craigslist and sold it within a day for $2000.00. Dealerships are literally GameStop. They give you $2 for a used game and put it on the shelf for $30.

I bought a 1200sqft, 3 bedroom 2 bath with half an acre in town in Texas at $89k in 2020. At these prices, buying a new truck is like buying my home again.

Remember when dealers were adding $10, 000 to the price of used cars, calling it a "market adjustment"? Yeah, I don't feel bad for any car dealership that goes out of business. They got greedy and now they are paying for it. Let it burn. They did it to themselves.

I will never in my life spend $100, 000 on a truck. I will buy a donkey and name it Brandon first.

Imagine how much cheaper vehicles would be if we got rid of the useless tech, like giant infotainment screens, 6 zone climate control, electric windows, etc. I bet if someone made a bare bones vehicle, it would sell like mad.

I'm driving a 1994 Astro van that a friend gave me. The A/C blows ice cold and it's a pleasure to drive.

Not a single one of those vehicles are anywhere close to being worth those prices. Not a single one.

My local Honda dealership has a low inventory problem. They keep requesting I sell them back my car😂

I’m extremely lucky I got my 2008 Honda civic with 71k miles at $8k. Can’t imagine a more durable vehicle, it even has some great bells and whistles like a sun roof and heated seats.

60+k for a basic Jeep is beyond logic.

I'm a welding inspector make 130k minimum a year. Still drive my 2003 honda accord ... I rather eat rib eye and collosal shrimp everyday than paying 90k for a new truck or car. It's ridiculous.

New cars are highly unreliable anyways

The root cause of all this turmoil amounts to not only extortion in the automobile industry, but also the resource industry. The price for resources like steel, rubber, microchips, etc. are through the roof.

I've been opting to fix a nearly 20 year old car. My older coworker does not understand how expensive a new car will be. A 300$ compressor on a car i own outright is significantly better than anything i can find.
