Great video, I just started my first help desk job, and we use service now. The training was more like trial by fire, so this answered a lot of question I had.

I work for two help desks. One uses service now and the other uses manage engine service desk +

Service desk + is much better. Better interface, ease of use etc.

I’ve been away from IT for years, after graduating from an online university, (got my bachelor in Information Technology) I really feel like I didn’t learn much because I need the hands on — I got some experience after working my first Service Desk job for about 5 months but I had to leave that job for personal reasons. Plus being a young woman in the field, it felt it was harder for me to be taken seriously when I tried to get back to IT. Mostly men were chosen to work and they had years of experience… so i felt I had no no chance competing with them. So I gave up IT for years but now I want to get back to IT- so I’ve subcribed to your channel and I’m hoping to refresh my memory and learn new things. Im planning to buy those courses online to get certification in CompTia A+. Not sure though if it’s a right move .. what can you advice as far as the A+ certification?
