One thing I can say about this movie was how Miyagi humbles Dugan here. They way that he humbled Kreese and Silver in the other movies. Using their methods of “no mercy” and “when the enemy is at weakest you destroy them” and making them feel fear before playing a joke.

Notice how the bad guys almost all use just straight punches against Miyagi? And they telegraph the hell out of them. Silver mixed it up a bit, but Kreese went right through the glass twice, lol.

Pat Morita was very convincing in this scene.Just imagine what he'd of been like had he had a black belt in Karate, he would of been fantastic, he would of easily stacked up to the late Bruce Lee!.JMG
