Hi everyone! Which other scene from this movie would you like to see?

I've always loved how they made Bobby a pastor, especially when Bobby was shown to actually have a heart. Didn't wanna hurt Daniel too bad, was reluctant to hurt Daniel's knee and immediately apologized and quit Cobra Kai. Bobby is one of my favorites ngl

You ever noticed that Mr. Myiagi did a "Sand the floor" block on Johnny's kick? Awesome 👌

This is not just my favorite fight scene from the Karate Kid series, it is my favorite fight scene in cinema history! Pat Johnson deserves A LOT of credit for this!

One of the greatest scenes in movie history. Choreography and brilliant cinematography aside, the music (combination of "No Shelter" and Bill Conti's masterful score) deserve so much of the credit of why this scene works as well as it does.

You had to be in the theater when this was first shown in '84!!! The ENTIRE place erupted into thunderous applause! It's one of the most magical memories of film-going as a kid for me.

About this scene:

The skeleton fight scene endured numerous takes because the actors complained that Fumio Demura (Pat Morita's stunt double) was hitting them too hard, which caused the scene to lose some of the choreography and authenticity. Fumio told the director that if he could use his own students they would get the shot in one take. The director agreed and they shot the fight scene successfully in one take. One of the doubles is a descendant of the legendary "King of the Frontier, " Davy Crockett. (from MDB)

Bobby was the only one who really didn't belong with Cobra Kai. At the beach scene, he's also the only one that shows concern for Daniel.

1:20 lmao I like how they actually sound like skeletons falling apart when they tripped

Have to admit, I did admire the way Miyagi reserved the nut-shot for Dutch, arguably the nastiest of the Cobra-Kai students.

The differences in the Karate Kid (1984) and 2010 films are:

1.) In 1984, Daniel tried to take revenge against Johnny by turning on the toilet tap water

2.) In 2010, Dre tried to get revenge on them by pouring water from the air filter machine into a bucket

I always liked how Cobra Kai showed Johnny’s side. “You couldn’t leave well enough alone” line was very true. Daniel wasn’t innocent just maybe less guilty than Johnny but neither are totally blameless in the movie.

This dramatically powerful scene from a PG-movie from the 80s has the intensity of an R-rated movie. It leaves a mark on the viewers' psyche. We're still talking about it nearly 40 years later. Compare this to the passionless, neutered remake of this scene from 2010 version. That is one of the many reasons 80s films like this stand the test of time and so many modern play-it-safe mainstream films fade so quickly.

Mr. Miyagi was the only man that could help Daniel with the bullies. I hate bullies.

Bobby: “He can’t even stand up!”
Terry Silver: “Well, if a man can’t stand, he can’t fight!” 😏

How cool if Bobby adopted the Miyagi-do style and joined Daniel-san!

Daniel: “Mr Miyagi thank you!”
Mr Miyagi: “Daniel san.. how many times does Miyagi have to save your bitch ass.”
