Brazil nuts are a very good source of selenium. Fish, shellfish, red meat, grains, eggs, chicken, liver, and garlic are also good sources. Meats produced from animals that ate grains or plants found in selenium-rich soil have higher levels of selenium.👍

This is what I read in Andrew Cutler's book:

"So mercury can potentially bond to the cells of the thyroid gland, which can result in a hypothyroid condition. Mercury interferes with many of the minerals necessary for thyroid hormone production, as well as the conversion of T4 to T3. Some of the minerals this toxic metal affects include zinc, magnesium, and selenium."

I am interested in hydroponic gardening, but I worry about the micro nutrients in the water, this kind of information is really useful to me . This kind of information from a medical point of view is really needed by hydroponic growers ! I would really like one program that has a chart of all the micro nutrients that should be in fruit and vegetables, then programs like this that go more in depth on each individual nutrient .

5:50 knew it! Since I started taking selenium, my depression episodes are much milder and shorter

Malabsorption - Mercury toxicity (mainly amalgams or vac-nes) - selenium deficiency - glutathione deficiency - bad memory and cognitive capabilities - depression - etc

These are all connected. I think the current medical paradigm ignores almost completely the heavy metal toxicity part of it (because it ignores those two sources that I mentioned above).

Is it a good idea if I take T-balance Plus for selenium due to hypothyroid function? I have had chills and fatigue for some time and from speaking to my doctor I reported that I have unexplained weight gain, and mild fatigue because I don't know tired I have to be to diagnose that I have hypothyroidism.

Are you from Ireland? You have a slight Irish accent more noticeable when and after you said “cartilage” oddly enough I didn’t even hear your accent at all until you said cartilage.. then after that I could hear it more.. weird
