Does anyone ever stop to think that perhaps the reason why we have so much violence in America is because we have a culture of violence? People want to blame guns and mental health and all of this stuff but America loves war. They love violence and when violence seeps through the cracks down into the drudges of society to the mentally ill, things like this happen. Nobody wants to blame society. We want to blame it on everything else because then we all have to face our own demons. As the Bible says we reap what we sow. We sow the seeds of violence into our children at a young age showing them videos on the news and social media of war and weapons of war. We allow them to grow up playing video games that glorify war, killing, murder and violence. We encourage them to join the military at a young age and we see police violence and gang violence on the news. We fill them with murderous thoughts and often glorify it then wonder why people go on violent rampages. We should look inside first before looking outside.

However, to truly address the root causes of this cultural rot we need to: return to God, the family, and love of country.
