3 dead in multiple DC shootings

It's been a violent start to the week in the District, as police investigate several shootings in just 24 hours. At least three people have been killed. FOX 5’s Melanie Alnwick has the latest.

I was a DC cop for a couple of years in the late ‘60s & it seems like nothing’s changed and if anything, have gotten worse.

i just retired from DC police a month ago. so happy i made it unscathed. if the public only new how much crime was actually being fudged and downgraded they would be shocked.

We need more resources in the black community. Just like when New York was flooded with gangs after the first wave of immigration. When Italians irish etc came. They had programs to help them they gave them resources. While with the black community resources have been extracted them mal distributed. Those kids are not inherently bad or evil. It's the situation and circumstances. Also being made worse with this new immigration wave. Job and training programs in DC are under funded but the migrants have funds
