First, this was not a "mass shooting". This was a thug or gang related crime that erupted over a disagreement. A "mass shooting" is when a person enters a public space with the intent to kill as many people as possible without any apparent motivation.

The shooter was a black man. Despite the fact there were many witnesses, there is no information about his description, age, name, any criminal This news channel's only purpose in presenting this report is to draw attention to the gun and away from the details of the shooting, especially the shooter.
