This will actually work. There is no need to cut the two holes on the side though or any electronic equipment. No liquid water either. Do everything else but instead of putting water inside the container put ICE. Or more efficiently - put closed frozen plastic water bottles that are filled with ice. When they are 50% ice and 50% water put them back in the fridge and bring out the next set. Rinse and repeat.

So.. letme tell you how AC ACTUALLY works... So do you see theres an outside part of the ac and a fan? That is the main of the AC and what it will do is separate the hot air from your house or hotel and then it'll release cool air...
