Too much trouble making a DIY cooler with plastic storage box. Use Styrofoam box instead. Make 2 holes, one for inlet air (mini fan) and one for outlet air (a 3 inch pvc elbow would do) on the cover of the box. Put ice blocks inside and its done.

I can see the steam of ice coming out of the fan. I doubt if the steam can condense on the fan wings and it can leak into the motor unit through the shaft of the fan wings. But nice work.

All you’re missing is taking temperature without ice in the bucket and temperature after putting ice in the bucket and see the difference in the degrees the fan will cool you.

Não entendi porque encaixar o ventilador na tampa. Melhor seria fixar ele na tampa com alguma super cola, fita dupla face, ou até mesmo usando parafusos. Segundo ponto frágil desse projeto, é a caixa de plástico. Esse material troca calor com o ambiente, e a condensação faz o lado externo da caixa, suar. Uma caixa de isopr seria porfeita para o projeto. Mas ainda tem outro ponto que pode melhorar. O ventilador. Ele consome muito mais que duas ou três ventinhas (cooler) daquelas que se usa em gabinetes de pcs.
