This is an overly elaborate solution to something that can be accomplished by a much simpler method. Instead of buying a bunch of parts and destroying a tote bin, just put the bowl of ice in front of the fan and point it where you want the cold air to go. 😆

Air conditioning systems use condensers to extract moisture from the air and dump it outside, making it easier to cool the air. However, using ice cubes to cool the air can cause evaporation to set in and deposit into the air, resulting in a quicker warm-up when the system is turned off. From an aerospace engineering perspective, developing projects for cooling moon bases in the future requires innovative solutions.

To enhance your homemade AC consider placing a secondary bottom inside the container with small drain holes to allow the water to fall to the actual bottom about 1cm below it. On one side of the ice container, the original bottom, add one small drain hole for the melted water to drain from the container. Tilt the container slightly so that the melted water that drips to the lowest level bottom can flow towards the drain hole and direct it into a sealed container, such as a 2-liter bottle, through a small hose connection. This will fill the bottle up instead of allowing the water to evaporate into the air, resulting in a more efficient cooling process.

By implementing this design, you may achieve much colder temperatures with less humidity being dumped into the air. Additionally, depending on barometric pressure, you may need to add ice more frequently to maintain the cold higher transfer into the air at the higher speed.

And if you don't want to go through all the trouble, just use sealed Ice Packs. The condensation that forms on the outside is actually pulled from the surrounding air, taking away humidity, which is what AC units do anyway except they move it outside.

Two Ice pack leaning on each other in a teepee format, allowing the fan to blow air through the centre gap, will work excellent also.

В итоге становится только жарче, но на термометре, конечно, температура низкая - он же обдувается воздухом прямо из контейнера со льдом. Мудаковатый какой-то этот хитрый мастер 😂😂😂😂

Простой тазик со льдом перед вентилятором гораздо эффективнее.

Man around 99, or 2000, I had built a pc using that AMD slot A processor. Anyway, we had no AC, and my PC would overheat during long sessions of Ultima Online. So I kept like 20 water bottles in the freezer, and built a tube shroud around the fan, with a slot to add frozen water bottles. I then aimed it at side of PC with case off, and and myself, on the oscillate setting. So perfect, by time the water all melted in the bottle, I would swap it out with a fresh bottle, drink the water, refill and refreeze. Kept the PC and myself cool and hydrated.
