Largest X flare yesterday (3rd October 2024) had a size of X9.1 the CME from it is going to hit on 5th and 6th October 2024. That one came after an X7.1 flare from 3rd October 2024 that is going to hit Earth today (4th October). There's a risk of disruption, but how that goes remains to be seen. The risk of X flares continues (see NOAA space weather for more information).
