I live in Alaska, Kodiak Island, I've been living without electricity for 8 years now. No generator either, and I'm a woman that is 69 year's young.. it's doable

I’m old. But my kids are not, and none of us are going to just curl up and die because living suddenly got tough. Who wants to live through this? I do, and I’ll bet a lot saying they don’t want to will change their minds when the real option presents itself. Never quit, fight to live!

The hardest part about this isn't moving to a safe zone.

It's convincing those you love most to come with you.

Should be called "safer" zones. No guarantees anywhere.

I'm a BOOMER and grew up during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
It changed how I thought about my place in the world. Common Sense wins.
I've been a Survivalist ever since then. I also started to work with/on computers in the early '70s.
I collect books and skills, and being an analyst/coder, I have a reason for doing all that.
Some of my children still listen, but all of them have been taught basic survival skills.
Fishing, camping, shooting, archery, woodwork, metalwork - plus they know where I keep my books & "tools".
And my motor vehicle ... yeah!

I am poor and can't afford to move like so many. Trying to come to terms with the collosal tidal wave that will rush up from the south, (in Ohio atm). Making peace with life, trying to better myself every day while i still can. Make the most out of what you have if you're in the same situation. Live life the best you can, for we have little time left. Treasure each day because there are so few for those of us who can't travel. What's that saying? Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I honestly can't imagine why anyone would want to survive this. I get it that you have kids, Ben. But no thanks. Death is not the worst thing that can happen to an immortal soul. I want to go out in the first wave. See y'all at the beach for a nice farewell BBQ.

Just a lil advice if u actually care about having a chance of surviving through what you prep for. You should NEVER tell people what your location will be or how well you are prepped. Especially on the internet for the world to know, unless it is a false location. I'm dead serious about that fr. I wish you and your fam the best of luck bro. Hopefully we will be kick starting the rebulid of civilization together. Much Love, Respect and Good Vibes to you 💙💚🙏🏽✊🏾✌🏾

I live in the forest in Colorado at 9, 500 ft. We have a wood burning stove and an unlimited supply of animals. I feel pretty good about our location.

I did my homework and viewed the disaster video several times. We immediately gathered our extended family and discussed best way to prepare for the excursion and pole shift. We have purchased a good size land parcel in Florrisant CO and will close at the end of March. The location is perfect and at nine thousand feet above sea level should escape the ocean Tsunamis from the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. I would encourage Ben to provide guidance on the production of electricity if we come out alive after the catastrophe. The people in your group must be contributors in as many specialties to move forward and thrive henceforth. Our group is strong in healthcare support and enough military experienced people that will enhance our security. Begin to collect pre-industrial revolution tools is a need but basic building supplies will be difficult to bring forward as there are limits to what you can reasonably store in advance of the event. Very sad that in the absence of electricity, humans become one of the largest threats to human survival.

No matter what happens, we should ALL prepare for any disaster within reason.
