The nano gaunlet that Tony built was obliterated when Bruce-Hulk snapped. Tony's armor was destroyed when he snapped. He didn't make any armor to use the stones. And Scarlett Witch messed with his mind and he ended up creating ultron. Also, he learns from his mistakes. He would probably try to find an ultra safe way to contain and hide the stones

I don’t think Tony would be able to keep & experiment with the infinity stones like you said as Dr.Strange wouldn’t allow that since the stones must be returned to the moment when it was taken in order to avoid new realities from branching out

The Russo brothers stated the idea was that he died because now he can finally "rest" because he doesn't have to be a hero anymore. The ONLY person to stand toe to toe with Thanos for more than a couple moments was tony. He made the titan bleed once. So he can do it again. So he had to be the one to face Thanos head on. Thus, he had to use the stones to beat them.

here me out I have a different theory, there were multiple ways that they win, but all of them would result in Tony's death, so yk the scene in Endgame where Tony was picked up by Thanos and Thor threw Stormbreaker at him, Thanos didn't use Tony as a shield, he was going to rip him in half, like in the comics. And then eventually someone else would snap and they'd end up almost dying or dying, so to save an extra life, Tony sacrificed his life so that no one else would die. or be severely injured, or suffer any kind of PTSD.

The Nanites in MK50 and MK85 conform to whatever purpose they need to serve for Tony’s intentions, for example they can materialize into the hidden blade that he attempted to use against Thanos, hence why the Nanites/Nanobots also allowed him to wrap around the stones to steal them from the gauntlet and be used for the snap

Respectfully, this theory makes no sense, since Tony literally got his hands on all the infinity stones. Strange isn’t stupid, and we’ve seen how willing he is to sacrifice anything for the greater good, that’s why he was willing to give up the time stone in IW, why he let Star Lord lash out on Thanos without restricting him in any way, and also why he let Thanos snap him away from reality: ‘cause he knew he had to create a chain of events that would lead to what happened in EG. He knew that, in order to save literally everything, a sacrifice needed to be made, and unfortunately he couldn’t put himself in that sacrificing role. He literally tells Tony “It was the only way”, that was his way of basically saying “I’m sorry I’m doing this to you, I’m sorry that you’re going to die, but I have no other choice or solution that would grant the survival of the entire universe”. Also, as many others have stated in the comments, Tony built Ultron because Wanda entered his mind and made him see his deepest fear: not being able to do everything he could to protect his family, his friends and the whole world. While he might’ve previously had the idea of building a suit of armor that would travel around the world to ensure global peace, he would’ve never tinkered with an Infinity Stone if Wanda hadn’t messed up his mind. Also, he was determined to protect his new family, and that means not even looking at an Infinity Stone ever again. The only reason why he worked on the stones in EG was to bring everyone back, then the plan was to bring the stones back to where they took them in their respective times and spaces.

No, Strange did not lie. He made a desperate move in a desperate time, and he succeeded in saving the universe.

Doesn't make sense, if he was afraid of a future where tony gets hold of all the 6 infinity stones, why would he set in motion a plan where....tony gets hold of the 6 infinity stones?

Letting thanos snap then snapping everyone back was the only way they had to bring everyone together to fight thanos, as far as we know this and strange using the dark hold were the only thing that successfully stopped him
