Great content as usual, thanks for the video Mark and happy new year! It would be really useful to validate these tips with fact based, hard data. Like for example get a list of prices for vehicles sold at end of quarter vs middle of quarter, or prices on a weekend vs mid-week. Hard task I know, perhaps impossible, but sometimes I feel that there's a little bit of a myth in this whole "best time to buy a car" topic.

Buying the older model is not always the best option. For example, and this has happened to me, especially if your leasing, the residual is worse on the older model, and in the end it cost more to lease the older model.

Great video September is definitely a sweet spot for buying a vehicle this past September bought a 2018 BMW 540i under CPO. Could definitely see the dealerships urgency to clear inventory and get cars out of the lot.
