Well Mr Charles Amos I am disgusted at your general assessment of old age pensioners as smoking, boozing layabouts who are forever flying on holiday. That comment is for the average British pensioner about as far moved from the truth as you could be. I am a 89 year old pensioner who is a non-smoking, non-boozing, non holidaying bloke that has worked all my life and is now I think entitled to a life that is more leisurely before I pop my clogs.

As a pensioner of 76, with heart problems, Amyloidosis of the lungs, high blood pressure, water retention, have had 2 strokes, which have taken some of my eyesight, , let me enlighten this ignorant person, i do not smoke or drink - can't afford to, i can't remember the last time i went on holiday, and still work 2full night shifts and 1 half shift to put food on the table, heating, electric and oil ŵhich have gone through the roof, general repairs and replacement of items that have worn out. I find your comments offensive and disgusting.
