Test drove 2025 XSE 2 hrs. ago lol. I also tested 2024 LE and XSE V6 6 months ago. The new Hybrid is very quick and the gas savings are a huge plus. If felt slightly better around corners but at the end of the day it's still a large sedan. Old 4 cylinder was very slow. The Old V6 only felt slightly faster The interior is hands down better on the 25' model. The new seats seem better quality too. It very smooth over bump not a Lexus but its very good. I definitely prefer the new model over the old one.

I’ve enjoyed mine for what it is… and the high mpg is certainly a plus. I didn’t buy it expecting a race sports sedan. 225 hp seems to be quite adequate. Two thumbs up Toyota

Thanks Ben. The XLE you drove would be my choice as its smaller wheels would be a smoother ride, slightly better EPA figures, and cost less than the top line XSE. Some reviews say the basic LE is a bargain (starts at a bit over $28K), is the lightest weight, the best EPA, the quickest (because it is lighter) cost less, and rides the smoothest with its smaller wheels (17" I think). Currently have 2024 CRV Hybrid but sedan is easier for wife to get in and smaller to drive. You didn't mention that Camry has spare tire kit (Honda hybrids don't), plus it has engine temp guage which I find useful in cold weather, Honda dropped theirs, and the Camry Tire Pressure Monitoring System is what it should be...for each individual tire. Honda dropped that one too, so now I have to manually check tires. One nice aspect of the Camry interior is the integrated touchscreen, it is not just stuck on the dash lik the Accord and CRV, plus more HP, and better EPA. The e-AWD is superior I'm told to the mechanical one and takes only about 1-2 mpg, but here in the desert it would not be too useful they say. The vehicle you showed had the $5K Premium Plus package but that includes alot, including ventilated seats, a desirable option here in the desert. Thanks again, Ben.

The interior build quality on the 2025 Camry XSE that I test drove was very good, almost on par with Lexus. Very comfortable commuter car and the hybrid system gives it more pop than the old version. A TRD would be great to add to the Camry model line.

My 2005 camry that i bought as my first car had heated seats. And heated seats are needed in places where it snows

I have a question: the gas tank holds 13 gallons. At 50 mpg, it should go for 650 miles. However, when I fill up, it only says 470 miles. Why? I have the 2025 Camry LE.

Also, unless you drive in a really annoying way, you will only get about 45 mpg (still good). If you drive a bit fast, you will likely get around 40 mpg.

The cruise control interface on the steering wheel of the '25 is a NIGHTMARE. Not intuitive at all!
Bring back the steering wheel from the '24. Or even better, bring back the dedicated cruise control stalk.
The '25 does get phenomenal MPG, but I don't trust a Li-ION battery bomb under the rear seat.

It's a very nice car for the money. Even the XLE trim is a good substitute for the defunct Avalon.

Still think the 8th gen exterior design is superior in everyway it had it's own identity. The interior I'll give it to this 9th gen as they have a better center area space wise and rear vents for all trims levels is standard. That said, the 9th gen's steering wheel is ugly. It looks weird.

We just needed a car to do car things. As economical as possible. That would not send us into bankruptcy. I did test drive the Accord and the Sonata. All are good enough for what we were looking for. Toyota made the best deal.
