Fuel consumption reported by you throughout the testing are truly impressive for this car, no joking.

I have a 2022 Camry Ascent Sport - I love the new hammer head front end, the better technology, and the squarer dash, the better handling, the better suspension, the interior extra's - BUT - the new Ascent Sport does not come with the larger instrument panel like the SL has, as the previous model A Sport had, (that's a big no no for me). Also the back end does not look as good as the old Ascent Sport which has a colour matched lower panel under the bumper bar and better fuller rear tail lights - makes the A Sport and SL look cheap at the rear. The cost of the A Sport now being around $47, 000 drive away demands more! Also my biggest grip with the old and now new Camry is that they sit too low - which is always an irritation when going up driveways with a rise or down with a sudden dip (always trying to avoid a scrap underneath especially the front end) - they need to come up at least another 2cms) not to mention getting in and out of the seats through the doorway almost gives you a hernia sitting so low!! Was going to upgrade but the above negatives and the price have baulked me. Yes! And the now hidden dual tailpipes which I like on my old one!

Have they improved the comfort of the terrible previous seats? They certainly look better. The previous model with its push the neck forward head restraints were so bad!!!

The more I see it, the more I feel it copied the previous generation Honda Accord rear light cluster that looks like a staple. 😂

Awesome review Kez 🙌 Are they built in Japan for the Aussie market? Also would you agree the SL version is getting close to the Lexus 300. I gotta say this new version Camry looks really nice . Keep up your excellent work mate!

I think the design language for the new camry was a miss since it’s intro around 2017. The refresh helps but when you have Hyundai, Kia and now honda refreshing and remodeling at breakneck speeds toyota needed something totally new to win the segment. It’s just fine!
