My youngest daughter of six daughters is now a welder with the Boilermakers here in Canada and I'm so proud of her bob❤

Not a welder, but both brothers were, Texas Oil fields, one passed away, other in a nursing home after motorcycle wreck. Always wanted to learn it and still might, your videos inspire for sure. TIG looks it would be fun to learn, stick looks like the cheapest, MIG kind or the In between. Like I said never welded and at 68 not sure I'm going to but always like to watch good craftsman video of any kind. Thanks

Soon as I seen 85 amps with 16th land uphill I thought uh oh. I like a 3/32 land and 16th gap for uphill about 75/80 amps. Makes for a great push and drag with a slight back step and works great for me. Downhill I can rock 16th gap and land

He can lay a bead on round pipe as good as I can lay a beat on a flat plate. He's a pro. This makes me want to get out and work on pipe and my up hills and down hills.

I do a fair amount of 4" well casing at work for old wells to meet code, either pretty crusty or old galvanized that I have to weld to. The roll cone is something I picked up from these vids and was a big help. I can't do open root on a casing extension as the pump is 4" OD and will get caught on the root.
None the less these videos are very informative, keep em coming.

I was having problems with my Everlast 210 STL running 6010 electrodes, but it finally started to work for some reason. Thanks for this Bob!
