I’m glad Elle and Vivian become friends and they’re through with that traitor, Warner.

When you realize that they were both fighting over Warner and were both too good for him. Good thing they eventually realized it, dumped him, and became friends.

You expect Vivian to just be this stereotypical mean girl. But instead turns out to be open minded and changes her tune to Elle after Elle proves herself.

From Vivian's point of view she met this "great" guy, they got engaged, and suddenly, his ex shows up trying to steal him back. I'd be mad, too.

I really liked that Elle and Vivian befriended each other in the end, and I was disappointed that Vivian didn't return in the second movie. If I remember correctly, she comes from an old money, she could've helped Elle somehow or gave her some insight on how things work in DC

Im so glad they gave both these characters alot of in depth and didny just leave them as the blonde clutz who just happened to get into harvard and win a jury case plus a mean girl w no conscience of her own

One thing I find interesting is that really neither Elle or Vivian were necessarily mean girls or toxic.

Elle went to law school to try to win Warner back. After all, when you've dated someone for a long time and they break your heart, it's hard to move on sometimes. She believed that Vivian was being mean to her. She never started the drama with Vivian, and even tried a few times to talk to her and be nice to her. She only mirrored how Vivian treated her.

But Vivian believed that Elle was just some girl who was trying to steal Warner away from her. We don't really know what happened in the time that Warner proposed to Vivian, so it's likely Warner could've talked about Elle negatively, which impacted the way Vivian saw Elle. She was likely quick to judge because of what she had heard about her. But in the end, she realized Elle is different than how others portrayed her, and realized her views were wrong.

When the professor asked what they _preferred_ I thought it was perfectly logical for Elle to _prefer_ someone innocent. It doesn't matter if they're accused of either type of crime, an innocent client is often easier to work with.

Imagine the pressures he gets for being not as good as his grandpa and his dad. The fact that he is in waitlist for Harvard laws and has his dad involved to get accepted. And then Elle gets in easily (after hard works of course). 😂😂😂😂
