Two examples of dealing with rational functions in precalculus. We will find the vertical asymptotes of a rational function, horizontal asymptotes of a rational function, domain of a rational function, range of a rational function, x-intercepts of a rational function, y-intercept of a rational function, and the graph of a rational function. Hope this precalculus tutorial helps you with your precalculus class.

0:00 f(x)=(2x+1)/(8x-3)

My personal favorite is slant asymptotes. It's just so fascinating.

Another way to define the domain is
R/{3/8}
And to be fair, I used to use this notation

the 2nd problem case is kinda unique, where there's a shorter version. linear and quadratic case

Why is the X-int 0, because when you use the original function its giving -2
