Losing Our Baby at 14 Weeks Pregnant - What the Doctor Found

This year was a roller coaster and my family went through a lot. I wanted to share my miscarriage story from earlier this year. I found out that my baby had anecepahly and would not survive after birth. I'll walk you through my early pregnancy, my first appointments, finding out our diagnosis and what happened during our miscarriage. I hope that others can feel that they are not alone.

The statistic is 1 in 4 women lose a pregnancy at some point in their lives. That's almost everyone you know, and it's rare for people to talk openly about it. Thank you for your candor, I know it is far from easy. You don't know who you helped with this video.

Oh my. God bless you. You help me raise my daughter with joy every video you post. You bring us a life better lived through all your sharing. I had a very difficult series of events at birth and I remember telling my doctor that if something bad had happened as a result of fate or my choices it would not have been her fault. She cried. I was healthy, my baby was healthy, and deep down I knew there was nothing I did to deserve it, and had she not survived - nothing perhaps would have or could have changed our destiny. Your beautiful baby let go of you dear sweet mama. Thank you for sharing. Prayers for you and your family. I naturally miscarriaged between 12-13 weeks at home and it was traumatic. Wasn’t sure what to do with the little baby that had passed. I’m so glad you were able to get the remains and have a memorial.

I lost my first pregnancy at 6 1/2 months pregnant! She was stillborn. Her name is Alison Joy. It was the hardest thing I have ever went through. I understand what you went through and what you will feel for the rest of your life.
