I felt 16x2 display was too bloated so I started using a 7 segment display, but that also was too much so now I use a single LED

I think you should just make the motherboard pulse binary code through your body with some electrodes

Recently I've been troubled with all the bloatware in my computer, so I decided to do away with any form of display. Now I use echolocation to navigate in my Linux desktop

I'd recommend using a single led for your display and just communicate with it in binary code with it, using a single button instead of a full keyboard. Just press the button to enter a 0 and hold it for a second or so to enter a 1.

considering that you are an arch user, make it only display the tech "arch btw"

That's still too much bloatware. You reduced the monitor down to a small screen and reduced that screen to 2 lines of characters, but you forgot about the computer itself and the keyboard.
You don't need multiple cores at multiple GHz. You only need a single core at 10 MHz. You don't need gigabytes of RAM. You only need 10 MB of RAM. You don't need hundreds of GB of storage, but only a few hundred MB of storage. You don't need all these keys. You just need 0, 1, backspace and enter keys to program in binary. Real programmers program by placing down transistors on a circuit board. That's how Pong was programmed. Pong is the only game made by real programmers. The first and last game I'll ever play. Pure efficiency. Probably has less than a Hhz of processing power.

The biggest bloatware of all computers, regardless of their operating systems, hardware, etc. is the user themselves.

Have your laptop output to an actual TTY (a physical teletype terminal). That the ultimate bloat removal

You are definitely making a step in the right direction, but I think everything above the Altair 8800 is still too bloated.

Honestly I think you're overdoing it, I couldn't imagine needing all this to use the computer. All you really need is an IO expander chip and some LEDs. The modern ASCII character can use up to 8 bits so you should be fine with 8 LEDs, but really all that new stuff they added is just bloat, if you just stick to the original 7 bit ASCII set you only need 7 LEDs. Perfect.

You don’t need anything to display output, that is too much bloat. Give true headless a try

now remove the computer case, since it’s also unnecessary bloat.

I got rid of my display altogether and had a speaker recite me each letter and number in morse code, but after a while, both the sound driver and the speaker itself were just too clunky. Because of this, I found an elegant solution to simply have the disk drive open and close after 1 second if it’s a dot, with of course, 5 seconds if it’s a dash, respectively.

That laptop case could use a lot of improvement. You should remove the case and the keys and just use the buttons under the keys to press on them. This will reduce weight and improve heat dissipation

Who needs a trackpad when you have a keyboard?
