One thing I find especially heartbreaking about Dahmer is the impact he had on the Simanthophone family. First he molested a kid from that family. And a couple of years later, he lured his brother Konerak, drilling a hole in his skull and pouring acid into it. Miraculously Konerak fled and was found by two women who called the police, but when Dahmer arrived at the scene he told some bullshit to the cops who believed it wholesale and let him take Konerak back to finish the murder. Police apathy was definitely a factor contributing to Dahmer not getting caught sooner.

As a Colombian I hate how incompetent our laws are at serving justice and punishing criminals

honestly the way you talked about different countries' killers and made a point to not glorify them was pretty nice. these are delicate topics and it can be weird to talk about them but i liked this video, even though im pretty weak-stomached myself

I really appreciate how you didn’t glorify it or make it apathetic to the horror of what these people did. A lot of serial killer docs are so scientific about the way they present these monsters, that it takes the impact of their crimes away. It’s nice to see someone repeatedly state that these people were bad.

How tf do you kill 300 people and get out for “good behavior”?! That has to be the BIGGEST slap in the face to the loved ones of the victims!

Pedro Lopez was released because in the country where he was convicted at the time the maximum penalty was 16-20 years, so he almost did his full charge. There is a theory that he was killed shortly after being released and being a serial killer who deserved everything the cops just didn’t report his death, and this is why we’ve never heard oh him anymore

My father was alive during the murder spree of the son of Sam killer. He lived in the Bronx as a kid and his mother made it extremely clear to him that he was not to go out alone at night. My grandmother apparently also left functions early to make sure she was home at a decent time to properly lock and secure the doors and windows. This is more recent but I was alive to see the gilgo beach killer get arrested. He lived in the town over from me and was also extremely unsuspecting. He had a wife and kids. I could’ve walked by this guy or even seen him throughout my life. Scary stuff.

that story of the killer being released on good behaviour reminded me of a different but equally frustrating slip-up of the law where a Japanese man who was convicted in France of killing and eating a Dutch woman was sentenced to insanity, extradited to Japan, and then because of political meanderings his casefile wasn't given to Japanese authorities so they couldn't convict him and he went on to become a celebrity who showed no remorse whatsoever for his crimes and he only died recently after living a full life where his only problems was health and not getting a job because y'know... murder

your comment about not ranking them because they don't deserve it was a pretty neat comment which I'd say is pretty smart, because validating their crimes is never a good idea and may trigger others to think of it as a competition or a goal to be 'the scarier killer'. I just wanted to let you know that comment was not looked over!

the horror of the thought that some peoples lives ended like this haunts me so much

We should stop giving these guys supervillain names

What's often the most disturbing about some of these are how charming and affable they were. Edmund Kemper was unbelievably sick, but was so friendly and charismatic that even prison employees liked him.

for me, the night stalker is the scariest. he didn’t have a type or specific method of murder- he killed men and women young and old, sometimes he raped and sometimes he didn’t. he was unpredictable

Can we agree that Trust Me Bro has the best voice to commentate for these videos?!

The thing about shipman was that it was a twisted sense of mercy, often the people he killed were terminally ill and he saw himself as putting them out of their misery, and has raised a lot of debate over assisted suicide and can dying people consent to murder (even tho shipman didn’t get consent) etc.

huge respect for not glorifying and being too goofy about these monsters. some silliness here and there, but it feels perfectly balanced :) a lot of YouTubers dont take it seriously at all and glorify them.

The next scariest killer may be in the comments section... He could be you. He could be me! He could even be-

Katherine Knight, an Australian woman and murderer is quite an interesting case considering her mental state throughout her whole life (which does not excuse what she did). She was the first woman in Australia to be given a death sentence. I recommend researching her case, it is truly morbid and heart-breaking.

Thanks for taking the time and not over hyping things like other creators but you kept it real and neutral when talking about these subjects .
