LET IT BE?? The meaning behind that song is so sweet. It’s about Paul’s mother who passed when he was 14. She came to him in a dream and told him to let it be when the Beatles were going through some things.

*Fun Fact:* His favorite Beatles song was Help because he meant it and was struggling from the fame he was getting in the Beatles. It was an actual cry for help.
The song he hated the most was Yes It Is. He claimed it to be a shitty version of This Boy but it was a fantastic song.

John didn't hate Paul's songs, he was just annoyed that he had no control over them being released as a sides. John is on record for hating probably a majority of their catalog, including his songs as well. Id do more research

I love the Beatles so much. They got me through some hard times. I named my firstborn Jude after Hey Jude. John tended to hate the upbeat silly songs that Paul wrote. You can sort of tell which one wrote each some because John’s are more trippy lol
