This is so interesting to see the similarities to the Mexican culture of 'Dia de los Muertos' (Day of the Dead) celebrated in November. A day dedicated to remembering and respecting those who've passed away. It is nice to see the similarities reflected in Japanese culture as well. Thanks for sharing 🙏

In Poland, we celebrate All Saints' Day on November 1st, during which we light candles on the graves of our loved ones and, of course, pray for them. It's not as elaborate a holiday as yours, and we lack that spirituality here. I think gratitude to parents for the gift of life is very important for us, and forgiveness for everyone, especially ourselves, is a fundamental matter in our lives! Perhaps you're familiar with Bert Hellinger and his family constellations, I highly recommend it. Everything you said is true, and I'm glad we feel the same way.
