Why isn't this stuff taught in schools?! It's crazy that our teachers didn't teach us how to study. I'm very grateful to you, mr DiMaio, for making this information so easily available to all!

Also, never listen to music which has vocals. The brain is 100% optimised to be distracted by human voices.

For textbooks:
1 - prepare “Q&A”.
((If your textbook doesn’t have a Q&A section just skip it.))
2 - Flip through “just observing”.
3 - Headlines and Bolds only.
4 - First and last couple paragraphs.
5 - each and last sentence of each paragraph.
6 - read word by word and ABSORB it.

The real definition of a teacher as far as I know is that becoming the second parent of your student. I just feel touched right now that i've started tearing up. Thank you for showing kindness and efforts to your viewers💕.

I wish teachers to not only teach what to study, but also how.

Came back from your "How to absorb textbook like a sponge" 2 years ago. Can't wait to implement this on my study habit in Med School. Thank you very much

Normal people: just watching the video
Me: wondering/trying to figure out whether that's a *real* bookshelf in the background

I just wanted to say I have read more in this semester than any other semester. On top of that, opening a textbook doesn’t leave me with such a hopeless feeling anymore. This video made an impact on my life!

This is amazing I needed it thank you!!! I also read a method of doing spaced repetition elsewhere:
1. Right after making flashcards
2. 15-20 minutes later
3. 6-8 hours later
4. 24 hours later

I used these study methods for my biology test and they were a great help. I did in fact study faster even though you might seem like you're doing more work! It's great for studying large amounts of notes. Thank you!

Just watched the video on absorbing text books like a sponge again. Can't thank you enough. Watching the above now, and then going back to some videos and on line stuff that has been frustrating me to death. Looking forward to adapting your techniques and ideas. Have passed this along to every scholastic age (and then some) family member and friend that I can think of. It's great for any age, including someone like myself, who is into his sixth decade and taking on another new avocation. Any suggestions for videos, feel free to comment. Can't thank you enough. Liked, subscribed, and advertising watching, I promise you that. How could anyone not like your videos? What's not to like?
