This is a guide to help you memorize anything for your studies and exams. I've tried almost all the memorization techniques out there, and have had a lot of time to experiment in medical school. I've distilled the science into 3 simple steps and show you a step-by-step walkthrough so you can start memorizing now.

🙏 Thanks for watching!

1. Visualize- turn things u want to remember into images.
2. Structure- link the visualized images together.
3. Repetition- word explains itself

Me studying how to study rather than studying 😊

Love how you guys get straight to the point. I personally don't like study-related videos that go on for 30 minutes and even though they're extremely detailed, my attention flows to somewhere else. By far your study techniques have helped me so much as an undergraduate psychology student!

omg im legit learning about cranial nerves rn 1:44 and the neuro block is killing me, so thank you so much for these bite-size high yield vids!! I love Justin Sung and his content but sometimes tis a bit too abstract so seeing you guys give us a concrete example is so so helpful!!

These days i get very anxious. I feel as i grow older, my brain is getting dumber. But thats not it, things are getting tougher and the added anxiety and my ADHD are no help either, but your videos remind me that i can do it. Thank you for making it simple and effective. I've been here since y'all were a family of 12k. Subscribing to y'all was the best decision ever. Thank you. 🌷💕🌷

Memory palaces have been game-changing for me but not only for studying. I have a daily to-do list which is just my bedroom in my head with tasks as images at different memory points. Whenever I need to know what to do next I just look at my room in my head and recall everything

For me, unless you’re memorizing completely random things, like digits of pi (in which instance, this method worked wonders), it’s better to just understand the intuition behind what you’re learning in order to make it memorable. In the example you just gave, the words “infraspinatus”, “supraspinatus” and “subscapularis” give plenty of information about where on the skeleton they sit in and where they insert, so it’s easier to have an image of where they are in the body. If you know where they are and where they insert, it’s then pretty easy to understand how they contract by just following the muscle fibers. Now you know the muscles of the rotator cuff, where they are, where they insert, their actions and the tests you perform on them

This actually is amazing, i need to memorize about 200 pages of IT stuff for my college class and it literally broke me. This makes it way easier and also kinda entertaining.

Looks like Justin sung has influenced this channel for the better and I’m here for it. Great visuals, an amazing story (rip subzero) and great music, 10/10

usually I'd combine the linking method with the mind palace technique
essentially you're putting each image at specific memory stations in your palace and link those stations with a story. It allows you to trace back to the respective image by walking through the motion of your palace if you ever forget the story or any part of it.
anyway great video

I'm so HAPPY that M&M covered the book 'Limitless' - it's the first book I bought because it's a summary of most books out there 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The labetalol example is genius! I love betta fish lol I'm in pharmacy school right now and I didn't have such a cute way to remember the BP drugs that are safe in pregnancy when I took my metabolics class last semester (literally only memorized the names lol), but now I have some more ideas on how to study for the other drug classes! Thank you!!
