AP Lecture 2: Planck, GUT & Inflation Epoch of Big Bang Model (Prof. Dr. Binil Aryal, 29 July 2020)

This seminar is the first of Standard Big Bang Model. I discussed about the Planck epoch, Grand Unified Theory (GUT) Epoch and Inflationary Epoch. These are radiation dominated epochs where forces attempted to regain 'fundamental symmetry' that was broken as 'spontaneous symmetry breaking' at Planck time! The coupling constant of thermonuclear guage theory and metric of inflationary epochs have been discussed in the context of Astrophysical point of view. In the next seminar I will discuss thermal history of the Universe by introducing 'conservation of entropy' during electro-weak epoch.
