Hay can I ask a question once the app is set up and someone rings the bell, if I'm watching on another hdmi channel will it override and show the ring ? Or would I have to be on the Chromecast or fire stick hdmi channel ?

Hi mate, ive just bought a anazon fire cube 3rd gen im looking at a 2nd gen ring doorbell it's on offer as well would you recommend it i want it to link to fire cube so i can watch on tv do i need the bell with the chime or will the door ring bell be ok on its own it aint much more expensive with the chime is the gen 2 ring doorbell good for me and the set up i want . ? Announcements don't work on the firecube 3rd gen. Got them working on all my other devices but firecube won't have any off it. The notifications settings has Alexa notifications turned off within the firecube settings. I turn it on but it always reverts to off. Did you get it working on a firecube 3rd gen?

Press and hold the mic button to talk to your cameras

If you say alexa switch to full screen the mic will be disabled. However if you say alexa talk to the {device name}, the mic will work if you talk back using the alexa button on the remote

my firetv doesn't show me a picture in picture or even announce any activity of the Ring Video doorbell how can i fix this

I've a firestick 4k and it won't work, if you press the mic button once quickly smart home comes up on the bottom of the screen, but won't go to front door.
If you press mic on remote and ask Alexa to show front door, it does and if you keep finger on mic button on remote you can talk to person at door.
