Nigel...your footage is exquisite 👌🏾 great video and even better I saw my face in the video 😅

Definitely one of my favorite trends are people taking older cameras and using hacks, tricks, etc to shoot better video with them or bypass certain settings/unlock more settings. I know you talked about it before with old Panasonics I believe but would love to see more people doing this with other old cameras from all different brands

Eos M really inspired me to dive into the art of filmaking. I am a product photog and video editor for the past 3 years but when I was introduced to this cheap budget cinema cam, my passion for cinematography ignited and now I am using this cam for various event works. Thanks to ML and its community, forever grateful!

Oooooh yes, the good old eos m - on my channel you'll find even a wedding video I shot with this cam in RAW. I remember how worried I was because the camera wasn't reliable at all - but in the end it was fun and turned out great 😅

I’ve been watching your channel on and off for a few years and now I’m blown away by the creative style you discovered for yourself … I wasn’t expecting to come back to what almost looks like a short film… amazing work my dude. Almost crying watching a damn camera review…

Dude I've never heard of this camera but that is CRAZY affordable. I'd probably want to get better at editing raw footage but this seems like the best deal out there. Awesome video yet again, Nigel!

It's amazing the camera's potential to shoot raw in 2012, and Canon still has yet to release a mirrorless camera that can record raw internally. To me it makes me think that the tech and features are out there, but they are being throttled to protect profits.

So happy the eosM still gets so much love. Im really proud to be part of the EosM community

It’s kind of silly to say, but I appreciate your revisiting the EOS M because it feels like a validation—I brought mine out of retirement a few months ago, installed ML Crop Mood and rigged it out to be B cam on a documentary project to my FX30. It has really impressed me with it quality and flexibility. To be able export from MLV app in Slog and grade alongside my Sony footage is really remarkable.

So many great cameras that still record amazing footage years later. I did notice some purple fringing with the EOS M so only so much you can do with it in a professional setting. Great footage though. Thanks for the video!

I have one of these cameras but have had the hardest time getting a good grade out of it. Making a video about how to process the footage to get beautiful looking stuff like yours would be amazing! Great video

This one is one of my favorite video's from you. Nice work Nigel! I own the GH3 because of you, and now this camera is on the wishlist too. Interesting! Your footage from this camera is really nice and spot on.

It really has its own charm with the image. Good stuff

Shot some newborn films on this camera back in 2019! I think this is the best looking broll you’ve ever shot. Some of them were absolutely stunning. Also glad to see the Element in there!

I've always enjoyed your videos, partly because of the information, and partly because of the warm and encouraging way you present that information. At the point in the video when you say "you can't get a better looking image than this", there's a person in the frame. It seems to me to be a very tender shout out.

As I was watching this video I was wondering to myself why do lot of the locations look familiar to me? And then once I saw the amazing shot of the gorge I instantly knew why it all looked familiar. I’m glad to see there’s great content creators like you out here locally and capturing the PNW in its natural beauty. Cheers bro.

I had the M1, thanks to your video from 8 years ago. I found the ML software to be super slow. Mind you, 8 years ago that version of ML was still pretty beta. Glad you are still shooting with it. I've been shooting with the pocket cinema 4K for the past 5 years but I do miss the simplicity and compactness of the M1. I hear the Sigma FP1 has a pretty niche user group as well.
