Police officers at a Florida elementary school arrested an 8-year-old boy who had allegedly hit a teacher -- only to realize the boy's wrists were too small for the handcuffs.

If a child doesn’t know how to read, you teach them. If he doesn’t know how to play, you teach them. If he doesn’t know how to behave... you arrest them ?

That child is 8 years old and they should not handcuff him and this is not the duty of the police،This should be solved by a counselor and a psychologist, and the school is not allowed to take the child anywhere without the mother، And the child's teacher is not normal, quickly called the police

Kinda feel like we have to check on that kid later and see what he grow up to be. Cuz that’s some traumatic experience right there.

I don't think he should get arrested for hitting the teacher. Maybe he should have gotten suspended or detention for a week

Bro, a kid at my elementary school threw a chair at the teacher and nothing happened! Today he is in my high school smoking and car jacks with his friends. smh... his parents said he is disabled.

This crap is out of control! An 8yr child shouldn't be arrested, period! 8yr olds throw temper tantrums & in doing so they'll throw, hit, swing, scream & cry. How about setting the child down, showing him love & support & discuss what he did was wrong. Then give a reasonable punishment that doesn't scare him to death & make him ashamed of who he is. Police chief says they officers did nothing wrong and follow procedure. If so then we have two problems. One is the fact that the chief still says the officers did not nothing wrong. Two is that the officers "followed procedure" SO .... "procedure" need to be changed, when it comes to small children.
