A teacher who has to call the cops on a 10 year old kid shouldnt be a teacher.

Check out the background of this case. They LURED the child & his mom into the school over something that happened months ago. If I lived in that school district I would want to know why this situation was handled like this.

This won't make it to court. If the prosecutor doesn't drop it a judge will. Sue the school district, the police department, the teacher, and the individual cops involved, the city and the state.

"Normal" people find it very hard to imagine being in a state of anxiety so intense that you can not rationalize. When a kid is in a state like that you can not "talk them down". It's really a bad situation for everyone. But arresting the kid is asinine.

Really? If a teacher can't handle a 10 year old student who kicks them, they have no right to keep their job.
Also, if they were so set on arresting him, couldn't the school point the police to his home back when it actually happened?

I didn't know you could get an arrest warrant for a child, but if you can, then isn't the result that he would be arrested? The news should be about the efficacy or ethics of arrest warrants issued for children, not an officer doing his job.
