Bodycam: Teen Arrested for Allegedly Bringing Gun to School in Bag That Stunk of Marijuana

Bodycam footage shows a Florida teen being arrested at her high school for allegedly bringing a gun on campus in March. Indian River County deputies said a student reported that Ha Lecia McKenzie had a firearm in her backpack. The 18-year-old was taken into custody after a search was conducted. The school district said she is not allowed back at school.

I watched the full video a couple days ago. I’m not surprised this happened at all high school close to me. She brought a gun to school and thought it was no big deal because no one was hurt. School shootings are too frequent for it to be no big deal.
