I'm 63. My husband and I raised our son and daughter to think for themselves and make their own life choices. If they want advice, we are available. Otherwise they can live and learn. I encourage anyone out there who is doing something for their parents to reexamine that. Best wishes to all of you.

Just turned 20 years old 50 minutes ago and this is what I opened up my Youtube to. I don’t know what this comment will be 5 or 10 years from now, but I needed this now.

I asked myself this right after highschool while being pressured to move out or go to college. Which told me I either need to work my way up the ladder at the place i work so i can save up and leave. Or take a bunch of classes and keep jumping thru hoops for my parents cuz they pay the bills. So then i asked myself this question. And my friend came to me and offered a solution. He told me he was looking into gardening. And i thought. Oh shit. Thats something I can do. Thats a craft I can grow up doing. He came to me after i asked the universe for an answer. So the universe answered my question. And with this settling of my emotions knowing i can begin learning a peaceful craft such as gardening. I found the energy to both work and attend university for my degree. Its not exactly fun getting my gen ed's. But now I have a destination. When I told the people around me I was going to settle for gardening. At first they assumed i was a pothead. I didnt reply to their assumptions. I just listened to who believed in me and who did not. Now I know who cares for me as a person. And who was just doing some checks/balances through me. At first it hurts letting go of the system of thinking I and many others are born into. But if you endure the pain. The pain turns to emptiness. And then I realize that the emptiness wasnt real. It was the after effects of coming out of the matrix. And stepping into the real world and realizing that the pain I was taught to live with MOST people havent even realized. And so they live their whole lives serving ideologies and systems. The light never quite coming on in that thick skull of theirs. And then I zoom out and see like 98% of the world population is sucked up into these things. And I am so thankful every single day that my friend came up and offered me that solution. I do not have alot of things - Maybe I will gain more later in life with my craft. But I have arrived.

I’m set to graduate in a few months, and all the advice I’m getting is to immediately find a job when all I really want to do right now is travel. I’m super conflicted because yes, funds are very tight, and I do want to be secure with a new job....but I just feel like 10 more years will go by and I’ll still not have been able to do what matters most.

I wish I'd had this advice years ago, especially in a world that pressures us to go, go, go and find monetary success as quickly as possible

Im a Music producer, im 18 And everybody Who listened to my music told me im talented. (I do not think that im just obsessed with music) Im in the high school and i feel like i cant do what i want to do, i cant dedicate all my time and i cant spend it on what i love. Often i do not go to school for music production and everytime my parents are worried for that. I feel like in prison and like i must do something like drop out school but in the otherside this will disappoint my parents. This is such a pian. Peace from italy.
