Bought our 2014, 2nd hand Jeep GC Ltd Diesel in late 2015 it had 20, 000 km on it for $54.5K. Sold it, late 2023 with 273, 000km on it only replacing tyres, the alternator and the Fuel Rail Pressure monitor all at a reasonable cost. We knew that the vehicle would need to have the valley coolant hose replaced at about $3000 and the fuel pressure hoses done as well, so as we didn't need to tow our two big thoroughbred horses anymore I was happy to sell it for $8, 000 and the buyer has since done all those repairs and extremely happy with the vehicle. Great vehicle, was very quick for passing in Sports mode, really comfortable. Downsized into a 2023/24 Nissan Qashqai Ti $53K drive away, after 5 months have 13, 500 km on it, another great vehicle, very happy.

Other mechannics say the same so this must be right. All Nissan Pathfinders can be questionable as early ones, , , , poor safety/fuel later ones, , , , bad chassis. Only Pathy worth a second look is the D22 between 95 and 2003.

The problematic Grand Cherokees are the WK...both the WK1 and WK2. Only time will tell if the WL will be better or worse.

Holden/Chevrolet Captiva, Holden Cruze/Daewoo Lacetti and The Ford Mondeo have got to be some of the worst cars ever made.

You have lost me for ever, just the usual sheep. How can a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd diesel with only 58k's on the clock for $17, 500 compared to the best price similar Prado for $43, 000. Now 115k's and only a drive shaft CV bearing, I better sell it, that's so unreliable.
