I have inherited a table that is very old. It is a four piece. Someone carved underneath the cabinet “first modification feb 13, 1847”. The guy who took it apart so I could transport it thinks it’s one of the first Brunswicks. It is a beautiful table. It also has writing on one of the slate pieces that it was in a steam fire engine hall in Pennsylvania at one point. No date on that one.
