You have some of the best tutorials out there.
High Definition video? Check
Nice crisp audio? Check
Obviously prepped and clear vocals? Check
Slow enough to follow along? Check
Straight to the point? Check

I love that you get to the info and don't try to bloat your videos with edgy or cheeky banter just to increase ad revenue.

For Windows users this tutorial is really informative, so thank you.
However, as a Mac user, I had some issues earlier this year with Intellisense not working in VSCode. After a while I found a solution.

1. Open Unity's Package Manager and switch to Packages: In Project
2. Uninstall the Visual Studio Editor package
3. Downgrade the Visual Studio Code Editor package to version 1.1.3 (don't ask why)
4. Go to Project Settings > Player > Other Settings
5. Scroll down to Api Compatibility Level, under Configuration and select .NET 4.x from the Dropdown

I also tried installing the .NET Framework package mentioned in this video, despite it only working on Windows. I don't know if this makes any difference.
I tested this on Windows and it did not work, but this solution works for me on macOS, so I hope this helps someone.

This is the first tutorial on using VS Code for Unity I have come across that doesn't have an extra 5 minutes explaining "why you should use VS Code instead of MonoDevelop or regular visual studio" added at the beginning! Like honestly, if someone clicks on a tutorial for how to do something, it should be pretty safe to assume they already want to do it.

I couldn't fix the vscode integration with Unity for nothing in this world. After following the steps in this video I was finally able to fix it, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! You are a true life saver, and also the tutorial is great, very well explained.

I can't express how happy I am to be finally able to use VScode properly with Unity.

Been learning Unity for a few months... using Visual Studio Community until today when I discovered Visual Studio Code thanks to your excellent tutorial. I will now compare the two -the more 'basic' VS Code might be better adapted to my needs. Thanks!

o7 Thank you. Worked for me. Video demonstrations are easier for me to follow than the usual walls of text tutorials.

thanks so much!
i reformatted my computer not so long ago and well...one always forgets one thing or another. this made getting everything running again quite trivial, which is wonderful.

Just commenting as a way to help the creator and boost their place in the algorithm. Great video that solved all my problems.

Thank you. I'm not such an idiot, I saw the error that there was no .NET 4.7.1 version installed. So I went to download it. But I downloaded the runtime, instead of the dev pack 🤣🤣. The setup didn't want to install it, since the system already has a 4.8 version installed. I didn't know this was what I was looking for. Really, thank you.
