Intermediate Level Seated Chair Workout for a Good Cardio and Ab Workout

This 20 minute seated chair dance workout is created for seniors and beginners who want to work towards improved health while seated. For my regular viewers, this would be considered an intermediate level workout. This dance workout includes a warm up and then we focus on having fun while moving along to the music and strengthening the heart and muscles with various movements. The entire workout is done seated and with no equipment.

Thanks for a great seated cardio workout! Dealing with pretty severe plantar fasciitis right now and have been told by my doc I need to stay off my feet as much as possible. Thanks for these seated workouts that are keeping me moving! 😅

I was looking for a seated dance cardio video but thought maybe none existed. I have limited time to sit but I want to teach both seated and standing cardio dance in the future. So I modified and moved in all directions because I also have limited time to stand in one place. Halfway through I did bigger modifications for laying flat down. Without sitting I couldn't move both feet together too well but....modify. I liked the r and b music partway through the best. I hope you make more seated dance videos. This was more advanced than the ones I did with mom after her stroke but I think for most people, moving in time to good music makes exercise much more doable. I hopevyou make more seated cardio dance videos- with a variety of durations as little as 5 minutes long, as a warm up, cooldown or when we just can't do any more. I have found that people on these videos are asking for mainly 1950s through 1970s pop music, but I also love some older such as big band and Charleston, Latin, almost any rock and r and b as well as some newer music.

An innate trust in the instructor prompted me to do this as you'd designed it...I am thrilled...it was no cakewalk, the mix of moves were challenging, fumbled a bit :)...but now am raring to go about the evening's work! Thank you ever so much, Jules...wish you great success in all you do🙏
